1st Shift Warehouse Entry Level

Job Description

We are hiring for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Entry Level position at Aldi. The role includes selecting and receiving stock efficiently, relocating merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and participating in inventory counts. The ideal candidate should be 18 years or older, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties to uphold warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in inventory counts following guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and safety.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and according to guidelines.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to collaborate and cooperate within a team.
• Demonstrate positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Efficiently organize and execute tasks.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate equipment safely.
