1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $26.75 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for receiving and fulfilling orders, organizing merchandise, and maintaining warehouse standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and safety.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and physical environments.
