Job Description

Join the team at Aldi as a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler. In this part-time role, you will play a crucial part in our warehouse operations, ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores for customer enjoyment. You will work in ambient and temperature-controlled areas, undergo comprehensive training, and adhere to strict safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Contribute to process improvement suggestions.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies, good communication, basic arithmetic, attention to detail, and work independently or in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift merchandise up to 45 pounds, move products, and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Engage in varied physical activities in different temperature environments.
