1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the dynamic team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week, offering a starting wage of up to $20.75 - $26.75 per hour, based on shift and schedule differentials. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and maintaining warehouse standards to ensure operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.
• Maintain warehouse appearance standards through general cleaning activities.
• Contribute input to enhance warehouse processes and assist in achieving budgeted goals.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and follow safety guidelines.
