1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This part-time position offers an average of fewer than 30 hours per week with a starting wage of $23.75 per hour. Our warehouse team plays a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores. You will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, undergoing thorough training to ensure your success.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipments.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and ensure budget goals are met.
• Inspect product quality and safety, following company procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to collaborate with a team and demonstrate a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• High School Diploma preferred.
