1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. You will play a crucial role in efficiently handling incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and contributing to inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Load/unload shipments and back-hauls.
• Maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements.
• Inspect products for quality and safety.
• Perform tasks within company policies and procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and report issues promptly.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changes.
• Detail-oriented, with good communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• High School Diploma preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, bend, reach, and stand for extended periods.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
