1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a Full-Time member of our warehouse operation, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise as per product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements to warehouse management.
• Inspect product quality and address safety and sanitation concerns.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies; good communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and physical conditions.
