1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with starting wages ranging from $20.75 to $26.75 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. The 1st Shift begins at 7:00 AM.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve processes.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Perform tasks accurately and efficiently within company policies.
• Follow safety guidelines for equipment operation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and operate equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
