1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking to hire a motivated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. In this part-time role, you will play a crucial part in our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling of products for delivery to our stores. With a starting wage of $23.75 per hour, this position offers the opportunity to work in both ambient and temperature-controlled environments, with fewer than 30 hours per week on average.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Capacity to lift up to 45 pounds and operate industrial equipment.
