Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join Aldi's team in a full-time role. In this position, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating effectively with peers and leadership. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety guidelines, and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise as per handling guidelines.
- Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance.
- Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse management.
- Provide input to enhance warehouse processes.
- Inspect product quality and notify management of issues.
- Perform tasks accurately and efficiently within company policies.
- Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- 18 years or older.
- Competencies in quality, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
- Interpretation of company policies, excellent communication, and basic arithmetic skills.
- Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and work independently or in a team.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
- Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk.
- Work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment.
