1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of up to $18.00-$22.00 per hour. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling, relocating, and organizing merchandise within the warehouse to fulfill store orders.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Cooperate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and report any concerns to management.
• Assist in achieving budget goals and follow company policies.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to act conscientiously, collaborate with the team, demonstrate a positive attitude, drive for success, and execute tasks efficiently.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
