1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are currently looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. As a full-time position with 30-35 hours per week, you will be responsible for various warehouse tasks to ensure efficient order fulfillment and inventory management. You will work in one of the following schedules: A1, A2, B, C, or D, each with its unique shifts and days off.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately and efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Prepare merchandise for shipment and assist in unloading incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and meet safety standards.
• Collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership for effective communication and information exchange.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide input to improve processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues to management.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physically able to lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate powered industrial equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting, bending, reaching, and moving of merchandise.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and operate equipment safely.
