1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a diligent 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the warehouse operation, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring accurate product distribution to our stores. Your role will involve collaborating with peers and warehouse leadership to maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively within the warehouse team.
• Provide feedback for process improvement to warehouse management.
• Inspect product quality and address safety and sanitation concerns.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret company policies and work independently or in a team environment.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets.
• Move merchandise, bend, reach, and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
