1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join Aldi, a leading company in the retail industry. This full-time position offers 30-35 hours per week with a competitive starting wage ranging from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on the shift and schedule differential pay. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will play a crucial role in the efficient fulfillment of orders received from stores.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise based on product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to meet warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
• Perform all tasks accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to adapt to change and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise and prepare products for delivery.
• Stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures, including outdoor and refrigerated environments.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
