1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join Aldi's team. This full-time position offers an average of 30-35 hours per week with starting wage ranging from $18.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. As a member of our warehouse team, you will play a crucial role in receiving, handling, and preparing merchandise for shipment to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and report any concerns to management.
• Operate equipment safely and according to guidelines.
• Perform all assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to qualify for this role.
• Demonstrate conscientious behavior, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication and basic arithmetic skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Physically able to lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate powered industrial equipment.
