1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our dynamic team at ALDI. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that merchandise is received, organized, and prepared for shipment accurately and in a timely manner. Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect and report product quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Perform tasks accurately and efficiently within company guidelines.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic procedures.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate concern for quality, safety, and collaboration.
• Adapt to challenges and drive success by following company policies and procedures.
• Efficiently organize and execute tasks to enhance warehouse productivity.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate powered equipment.
• Work in various temperatures and environments.
• Capable of standing, bending, reaching, lifting, and walking throughout the warehouse.
