1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our dedicated team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations play a crucial role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores to meet the needs of our growing customer base.

Position Details

• Job Type: Part-Time
• Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $23.75 per hour

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Organize and relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Prepare merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide feedback to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Operate equipment safely and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate qualities of conscientiousness, teamwork, positivity, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and basic arithmetic skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and perform physical tasks throughout the warehouse.
