1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dependable and efficient 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join the Aldi team. As a key part of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for various tasks from stock selection and relocation to inventory management and general cleaning. If you are detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and committed to excellence, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Contribute to process improvements and assist in achieving warehouse goals.
• Perform tasks accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic protocols.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physically able to lift up to 45 pounds and operate powered industrial equipment.
