2nd Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores for our customers to enjoy. Our warehouse employees typically work less than 30 hours per week in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, receiving thorough training and continuous support for their success.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving goals.
• Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and maintain sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment safely and report issues promptly.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds; move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, and operate equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and properly operate powered industrial equipment.
