2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the Aldi team. In this part-time role, you will play a crucial part in efficiently receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. With an average of fewer than 30 hours per week, you will work in ambient and temperature-controlled areas, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Provide feedback for process improvements and assist in achieving goals.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues promptly.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must demonstrate ALDI core competencies, including conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency. You should have the ability to interpret policies, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and be able to work well independently and in a team environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and handle packages weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Flexibility to work in varying temperatures and operate industrial equipment.
