2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our warehouse operations at Aldi. Our team ensures that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores to meet the needs of our growing customer base. As a part-time position, you will work fewer than 30 hours per week in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas. You will receive a competitive starting wage of $25.75 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Independently make decisions within your area of responsibility.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals and follow company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate qualities such as conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise and prepare for deliveries.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment safely.
