2nd Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Stocker to join the team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our warehouse operations by efficiently receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. The position is part-time, offering an average of fewer than 30 hours per week with a starting wage of $25.75 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill orders from stores.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and achieve budgeted goals.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Perform assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policies.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational skills.
- Basic arithmetic skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or within a team environment.

Education and Experience

- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate powered industrial equipment.
