We are looking for a motivated Operations Supervisor to join our team at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely, safe, and efficient loading and unloading of freight on assigned shifts. Your responsibilities will include planning, supervising, and coordinating resources to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for safe and efficient freight loading and unloading.
• Maintain load plans and ensure proper load balance for vehicle safety.
• Assign job tasks, provide training, and offer performance feedback to team members.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment, focusing on proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Support a values-driven culture and collaborate with team members to achieve department goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience in transportation or related field is a plus.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• General knowledge of freight operations and handling techniques.
