Job Description

ABF Freight, an ArcBest company, is seeking a dedicated Operations Supervisor to join our team in Denver, CO. As a Supervisor, Operations I, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and safe loading/unloading of freight during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for timely, damage-free, and safe freight handling.
• Maintain proper load plans and ensure safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, provide training, and offer feedback to team members.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment, especially for hazardous materials.
• Support department goals and contribute to a values-driven culture focused on integrity and collaboration.
• Execute other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience in service center or transportation field is a plus.
• Supervisory experience is beneficial.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• General knowledge of freight handling techniques.
