Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist in supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and implementing operational action plans. You will also have the opportunity to develop and grow the team through training opportunities.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 38 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $26.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans to improve store operations
- Establish job responsibilities and expectations for direct reports
- Identify training opportunities for team development
- Monitor the competitive environment and recommend adjustments
- Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed
- Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels
- Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years retail experience
- Prior management experience preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to operate equipment and handle merchandise
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
