Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day store operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the overall performance of the store. You will play a key role in implementing operational strategies, providing training opportunities for team members, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance store performance.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve staff performance.
  • Monitor market trends and provide feedback to enhance company competitiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory procedures, product quality, and cleanliness standards.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and address operational issues.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Prior retail experience, with management experience preferred.
