Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day store activities, supervising the team, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a culture of teamwork and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to improve store performance.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and suggest adjustments to maintain market position.
  • Ensure inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies are followed.
  • Supervise team operations and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, merchandise products, and optimize sales.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Experience in retail environment preferred.
  • Prior management experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and work well in a team.
