Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day store activities, supervising the team, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a culture of teamwork and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans to improve store performance.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
- Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
- Monitor the competitive environment and suggest adjustments to maintain market position.
- Ensure inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies are followed.
- Supervise team operations and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain store cleanliness, merchandise products, and optimize sales.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older.
- Experience in retail environment preferred.
- Prior management experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and work well in a team.
