Assistant Retail Management

Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist in managing day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, developing operational action plans, and identifying training opportunities to cultivate a high-performing team.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 38 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $26.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance operating results.
• Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
• Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
• Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback for business improvement.
• Ensure store personnel adhere to inventory and cash control policies.
• Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and provide the highest level of customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Prior retail management experience preferred.
