Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, developing operational plans, and ensuring the overall store performance. As an Assistant Retail Manager, you will play a key role in supervising the team, identifying training opportunities, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance store operations.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to the team.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
  • Maintain inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
  • Ensure store cleanliness, proper signage, and stock levels.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Prior retail management experience preferred.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of retail experience.
  • Experience in management is a plus.
