Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist with supervising day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, developing action plans, and identifying training opportunities to enhance the team's performance. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining store performance and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to enhance operating results.
  • Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for team members.
  • Identify training opportunities for team development.
  • Communicate company strategy and values to foster teamwork among employees.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and provide product feedback.
  • Participate in the interviewing process for store personnel.
  • Ensure adherence to inventory procedures, product handling guidelines, and cash control policies.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and escalate issues when needed.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Prior retail experience required.
  • Management experience preferred.
