Assistant Retail Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with daily store operations, managing schedules, developing action plans, and fostering team growth. This is a full-time position, averaging 38 hours per week with a starting wage of $24.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to enhance store performance.
• Communicate job responsibilities and expectations effectively to team members.
• Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
• Ensure adherence to company strategy and values to foster teamwork.
• Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback on products.
• Participate in the hiring process and maintain inventory procedures.
• Resolve operational issues and maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Supervise team operations and ensure high levels of customer service.
• Comply with company policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and management abilities.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of retail experience required, management experience preferred.
