Assistant Retail Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist with managing day-to-day store activities, supervising team members, maintaining store performance, and implementing operational strategies. You will also play a key role in developing the team and identifying training opportunities for growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist the direct leader in improving operating results through action plans.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
• Identify and provide training opportunities for team members.
• Monitor the competitive environment and suggest adjustments to maintain market position.
• Participate in the hiring process and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Maintain store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and merchandising standards.
• Supervise team operations, escalate issues when needed, and ensure high customer service levels.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Prior retail experience and management skills preferred.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years retail experience; management experience preferred.
