Job Description
We are looking for an Associate Director, Clinical Data Innovation to lead our Global Clinical Development Operations (GCDO) data and analytics platforms at Jazz Pharmaceuticals. As part of a dynamic team, you will oversee the strategic roadmap and objectives for our clinical data platform(s), optimize platform usage, and cultivate cross-functional relationships. Your role will involve managing, configuring, and programming on our existing platforms while keeping abreast of technological advancements in clinical trials.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic objectives for clinical data platforms.
- Optimize Jazz's clinical data platform(s) through cross-functional collaboration and change management strategies.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the Clinical Data Innovation team.
- Build strong relationships at a senior leadership level and act as the primary strategic interface with technology vendors.
- Stay updated on technology as applied to clinical trials and solve strategic issues creatively.
- Determine business needs and translate them into system and end-user requirements.
- Collaborate with IT partners and external vendors to manage data platform development.
- Ensure compliance with system user requirements and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of clinical trial study design and drug development processes.
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead multiple complex projects.
- Excellent communication skills and experience with data visualization tools.
- Proficiency in CDASH standards and clinical trial data collection systems.
- Ability to solve technical and data-related problems effectively.
- Understanding of regulatory and industry standards (GCP, ICH E6) and technology requirements.
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 10 years in a clinical trial role with 3 years of management experience.
- Experience with Tableau, AWS, T-SQL, and elluminate is a plus.
Benefit
- Market competitive salary range: $152,000-$228,000.
