Job Description

We are looking for a Clinical Development Lead specializing in Solid Tumor Oncology, focused on BTC (Biliary Tract Cancer) and GEA (Gastroesophageal Adenocarcinoma). As part of Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to innovative medicine development, you will play a crucial role in leading the late-stage development and life-cycle management of a key Oncology asset for BTC and GEA. Your responsibilities will include strategic leadership, clinical development planning, cross-functional collaboration, regulatory compliance, clinical trial oversight, data analysis, risk management, external collaboration, budget and resource management, and fostering a high-performance culture within the clinical development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership for BTC and GEA Oncology program.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive global clinical development plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless execution of programs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines.
  • Oversee the execution of clinical trials and monitor study progress.
  • Analyze clinical trial data, interpret results, and make informed decisions.
  • Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders and collaborative partners.
  • Manage budget allocation and resource planning.
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the clinical development team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience in leading Solid Tumor Oncology asset development through late-stage successfully.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing clinical development teams.
  • Executive presence to articulate complex insights effectively.
  • MD required, board certified Oncologist preferred.
  • Higher postgraduate degree e.g., PhD preferred.
  • Clinical and/or development experience in solid tumor oncology preferred.
