The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a Communication Facilitator (ASL) to join our Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind Educational Services Program. This role involves providing onsite support for students with hearing impairments, ensuring effective communication in educational settings.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication for deaf and hard of hearing students using American Sign Language (ASL) and other modalities.
• Work with educators to support students in achieving learning objectives.
• Provide interpreting services to students in different educational environments.

Requirements

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is mandatory.
• Experience working with children with diverse language abilities.
