Construction Cost Project Analyst

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Construction Cost Project Analyst to join our National Real Estate Services team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for managing construction costs on a national level, collaborating with divisional real estate teams to evaluate construction bids and ensure alignment with project scopes and regional cost trends.

Responsibilities

• Work with Construction Managers to negotiate with contractors.
• Collaborate with the Director of Real Estate and Construction Manager to determine appropriate scopes and pricing.
• Provide pricing data and practices for consistent pricing structures.
• Analyze bids and create reports for project award decisions.
• Track pricing data and advise on efficiency improvements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative construction practices.
• Forecast pricing in response to market fluctuations.
• Train and develop team members to ensure a motivated workforce.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Construction Estimating.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction cost estimation software.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
