Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of the store, you will be responsible for merchandising, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and welcoming for our customers. By collaborating with the Aldi team, you will provide exceptional customer service, enhancing the shopping experience for all.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills in your daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves.
• Assist customers in their shopping experience and communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Provide valuable feedback to improve products, manage inventory, and ensure accurate stock levels.
• Follow cash handling procedures to minimize errors and uphold company policies.
• Adhere to security protocols and maintain the confidentiality of documents and data.
• Complete other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Competent in using equipment like an electric/manual hand jack and floor scrubber.
• Capable of following cleaning standards and interpreting company policies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Adept at working independently and as part of a team.
• Detailed-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience is accepted.
