Job Description
We are hiring for the position of Customer Service and Stock Specialist at Aldi. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to uphold our standards of service and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI M.A.P. competencies in your role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security.
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
- Proficient in cash register operation and equipment handling.
- Capability to perform general cleaning duties and adhere to company policies.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
