Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial team member, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through exceptional customer service, efficient cashiering, stocking product, and maintaining a clean store environment.

Position Details

  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills to deliver outstanding service.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays with care.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Provide feedback on products, inventory, and customer issues to improve operations.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures to ensure store security.
  • Participate in inventory counts and maintain accuracy in inventory management.
  • Contribute to a clean and organized store environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
  • Ability to offer prompt and friendly customer service
  • Proficient in operating cash registers and store equipment
  • Capable of following company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Strong communication skills and a team player mindset
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask efficiently
  • Meet local regulations for handling alcohol, if applicable

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Prior retail experience (preferred)
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
