Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of the store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store maintains its best appearance. Your role will involve enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service and collaborating effectively with the Aldi team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) as defined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and any store issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash procedures to minimize losses and uphold company policies and procedures.
• Perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and moving products weighing up to 45 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate a cash register efficiently and safely handle equipment.
• Perform cleaning duties to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently.
• Meet all state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
