Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional service and maintaining a well-stocked store environment. Your responsibilities will include cashiering, merchandising, and general cleaning duties to ensure the store is organized and inviting for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills through your daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to improve store performance.
• Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Follow company policies, ensure security and confidentiality of data, and perform assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to work at ALDI.
• Ability to operate a cash register and various store equipment.
• Capable of performing general cleaning tasks to maintain store standards.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently.
• Meeting local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
