Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
  • Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management
  • Conduct inventory counts, monitor accuracy, and report any issues
  • Follow cash-handling policies and uphold company procedures
  • Adhere to security protocols and maintain confidentiality

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
  • Capability to perform general cleaning tasks according to standards
  • Excellent communication skills and capability to work independently or in a team

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous retail experience is a plus
