Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service, merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, maintain neat displays, and stock shelves efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service and support a positive shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Take part in inventory management, monitoring accuracy and contributing to inventory counts.
- Adhere to cash policies and company procedures while ensuring security and confidentiality.
- Perform general cleaning duties and operate equipment safely.
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
- Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
- Experience in retail and general cleaning tasks is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Ability to follow guidelines, multitask, and stay organized.
- Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior work experience in retail considered a plus.
