Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service, merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain neat displays, and stock shelves efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service and support a positive shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Take part in inventory management, monitoring accuracy and contributing to inventory counts.
• Adhere to cash policies and company procedures while ensuring security and confidentiality.
• Perform general cleaning duties and operate equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Experience in retail and general cleaning tasks is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to follow guidelines, multitask, and stay organized.
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in retail considered a plus.
