Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's core values and competencies in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays with precision.
- Provide outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers and addressing inquiries.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling procedures and company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficiency in customer service and operating a cash register.
- Ability to use equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers.
- Capable of meeting physical demands, including lifting and stocking items.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
