Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. Working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and any issues that arise.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to perform cleaning duties and adhere to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
