Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the store's appearance, serving customers, and collaborating with the ALDI team to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate M.A.P. behaviors as outlined for the role.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with the store management team.
  • Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies and procedures.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures while ensuring document and data security.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask efficiently.
  • Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior work experience in a retail environment is a plus.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
