Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Director of Toxicology to join Jazz Pharmaceuticals, a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing life-changing medicines for patients worldwide. As the Director, Toxicology, you will lead and manage the global nonclinical regulatory and investigative toxicology activities for Jazz's portfolio products, supporting the development of innovative therapies.
Responsibilities
- Manage global nonclinical regulatory strategy for Jazz programs.
- Design, conduct, and monitor toxicology studies at external CROs.
- Support drug development programs by addressing potential toxicology issues.
- Provide toxicology expertise to cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Pathology, or related field.
- 8-10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in drug development toxicology.
- Experience in authoring nonclinical elements of regulatory submissions.
- Strong knowledge of FDA, EMA, and ICH guidance documents.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
