Electrician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join Cargill's protein and salt business in Fort Morgan, CO. As part of our global team dedicated to safe and sustainable food production, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our plant's electrical systems and automation processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance and troubleshooting on plant equipment.
• Design and implement control systems for plant processes.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify areas for improvement.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills.

Requirements

• Permanent work authorization in the U.S.
• Proficiency in reading and analyzing electrical schematics.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with Cargill is a plus.
• Knowledge of PLC and HMI systems.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens technologies.
• Understanding of continuous and batch process control.
