Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking an accomplished Executive Director for Late-Stage Oncology Clinical Operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee a team of skilled professionals dedicated to managing and delivering our Oncology Phase 1-3 pipeline. You must possess significant expertise in solid tumor clinical development, strategic planning, operational efficiencies, and regulatory compliance. As a key member of the leadership team, you will drive project success, staff development, and operational excellence in a dynamic global environment.

Essential Functions

• Lead all operational aspects of late-stage oncology clinical development.
• Ensure clinical research budgets and timelines are accurate and optimal.
• Provide guidance to development teams for high-quality trial protocols and plans.
• Address issues with sites, CRAs, and CROs effectively.
• Mentor staff, build strong clinical teams, and drive performance excellence.
• Oversee CRO and vendor selection and management.
• Offer technical expertise in clinical document development and trial conduct.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for operational success.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry, with at least 10 years in oncology.
• Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Expertise in clinical research, regulatory compliance, and business acumen.
• Deep understanding of clinical operations and trial metrics.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
