Job Description
Prestige Fleet Services, the fastest growing fleet maintenance network, is looking for a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team. As part of our family-oriented company, you will work on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, performing repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance procedures. If you are passionate about diesel and trailer repair, possess excellent communication skills, and are self-motivated, we want you to be a part of our team.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and inspections on trucks and trailers, including brakes, engine components, electrical systems, tires, and more.
- Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
- Manage inventory on the service truck and obtain parts from local vendors.
- Accurately complete all documentation, such as DOT forms and repair orders, in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of diesel and trailer repair experience.
- Valid Driver's License and ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Self-motivated with excellent organization, planning skills, and basic computer knowledge.
- Experience in performing federal inspections and brake inspections.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent.
- Certifications and welding experience.
- CDL is a plus.
